Migration of Paid Subscribers Complete
Many thanks to paid subscribers for their patience and continued support while I migrated them from Substack to davidahughes.net.
Many thanks to paid subscribers for their patience and continued support while I migrated them from Substack to davidahughes.net.
The process proved far more labour-intensive than I had envisaged, and I have spent most of the last few weeks working on it.
The good news is that I have finished, or at least I think I have finished.
All paid subscribers should now be able to log in to davidahughes.net using the same email address that they use to log into Substack, and they should be able to manage their paid subscription directly (i.e., without needing to go through me).
All paid subscriptions should have been migrated “seamlessly,” i.e., whatever plan you were on before (with Substack) will remain identical on davidahughes.net. It does not matter what your subscription fee is, what currency you pay in, or when your renewal date is — all of this will remain the same.
If you encounter any difficulties, please let me know asap so that I can resolve them. So far, paid subscribers have not reported any issues.
I will continue to work on improving the functionality of my website. All the content is uploaded, but there are still a great many tweaks I want to make.
In other good news, it is not only the website that I have been working on. I have also been redesigning my podcasting space. That, too, has been a lot of work, but you will hopefully see the results in the near future.
Once again, thank you to all subscribers for your support. The latest challenge in the information war has now been successfully navigated.
